Born in Perugia in1924 and died in Rome in1993. He was an Italian painter. He studied at Fine Arts Academy in Perugia; in 1947 he set up in his city the first official exhibition, coming into contact with art critic Lionello Venturi, key-figure for his artistic maturity.
He participated in two editions of the Venice Biennale and became a professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome.
